OBITUARY:
Yves George Larochelle, 61, of Burlington Maine, passed away at home on January 4th, 2022 after several years of declining health.
Yves was born on October 5th, 1960 to Adrien Larochelle and Cecile Smith-Larochelle in Sherbrooke, Quebec Canada. After graduating from Nashua High School South in 1979, Yves joined the workforce, honing a variety of skills from electrical to carpentry and machine repair. A voracious tinkerer, Yves loved to work with his hands, and could fix just about anything. Many will remember Yves for his love of classic cars such as his Pontiac GTO, and his appetite for motor sports such as four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
Yves worked for many years at Teledyne Electronic Technologies in Hudson NH as a facilities technician, developing many lifelong friendships, and creating smiles and laughs for all along the way. Always the entertainer, Yves was the life of the party and had a welcoming and friendly smile for anyone.
In 2003, Yves met Dianna Lee, and they wed in July of 2004 at one of their favorite places, Keoka Beach Campground in Waterford, Maine. Yves spent his later years with his beloved wife living in Burlington, Maine, where he enjoyed the local wildlife and the nature that surrounded him. He loved their dogs, the deer that frequently came to visit, and he maintained his love of ATV’s and outdoor activities.
Yves was predeceased by his father Adrien and his mother Cecile of Nashua, NH. He is survived by his wife Dianna Lee-Larochelle of Burlington ME, his stepson Bradford Lange of Fairbanks AK, his daughter Mandy Hopkins, her husband Jeremy and granddaughter Hadley of Northfield, NH, sister Lisa Larochelle-Guidi, her husband Brian and nephew Nathaniel of Nashua, NH.
Per Yves wishes, there will be no services.
