MARS HILL – Winnifred M. Anderson, 88, passed away July 8, 2019. She was born October 16, 1930, the oldest daughter of Max and May (Stetson) Brayson.
Winnie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed time with her grandparents, Flossie and Arthur, as a young girl. She loved animals, dancing, and yodeling.
She and Donald met after he returned to ACI from serving in the Navy. They married on June 30, 1950 in Easton and raised four children, Dennis (Deb), Nathan (Marti), Andy (Bonnie), and Cindy. They have 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of TAMC, Mars Hill, for the love and care they provided.
A memorial service will be take place at 11 am, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Mars Hill Methodist Church, 20 Main Street, Mars Hill. Donations in memory of Winnie may be given to the Community Food Cupboard, 20 Main Street, Mars Hill, ME 04758. Condolences to the family may be expressed at Memorial-Alternatives.com
