Lincoln – Vickijean (Harrison) Madore passed away peacefully Fri., May 13th. Born Jan. 14, 1948 in Bangor, ME, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (MacKenzie) Harrison. She grew up in East Millinocket and graduated from Schenk High School.
Vicki worked many jobs throughout her life including Merrill Bank in Millinocket and Bangor Hydro Electric Co. both in Millinocket & Lincoln, Eastmill Federal Credit Union in East Millinocket and Hannaford Supermarket in Lincoln before retiring.
She is survived by her husband William Madore of Lincoln, a stepson Jamie Madore and his partner Tara Leonhardt of Raleigh, NC, a stepdaughter Amanda and her husband Thomas Tennies of Roanoke, VA and their son Hayden Tennies. Siblings Robert Harrison and his wife Martha Blair Harrison of Scottsville, KY and their daughters Nicole Harrison and Catherine Cliburn; sisters Evelyn Harrison of Weatherford, TX and her daughters Sara Boutaugh of Brewer, ME and Rachel Prizer and her husband Jason and her daughter Ava of Weatherford, TX and Mary and her husband Eddie Ouellette of St. Agatha, ME. A special friend Priscilla “Sam” MacPherson of Millinocket, ME and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Dominic Tennies of Roanoke, VA.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Mon., May 16th at the First Congregational Church in East Millinocket, ME from 12 noon to 4PM. Graveside services will be determined at a later date.
