Theresa Angela Seymour Kingsbury, of Hudson, passed away on January 27, 2024, after a long illness with her family by her side. She was born in Old Town at Home Private Hospital on May 13, 1955, the second daughter, and second of seven children, of Hilda (Grant) and Alfred Albert Seymour Sr. Theresa always loved the fact that she was named after her Grammy Grant.
Theresa was educated in Old Town, Milford and Bangor schools.
She married George Kingsbury and they had three daughters. Theresa was a stay-at-home mother and enjoyed being home with her children.
She loved playing games, cards, bingo and lottery tickets. Theresa had a love for animals from a young age and always had pets who she loved and considered members of her family.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased in September, 2023 by her husband, George Kingsbury; her granddaughter, Marina Kingsbury; brothers, Alfred Jr., Eugene and John Seymour.
She leaves her three daughters, Malinda and her husband, Karl Sanborn, of Hudson, Billiejo and her husband, Michael Ewer, of Dover Foxcroft, Crystal Kingsbury and her partner, Richard Bubar, of Hudson; granddaughters, Kendra Clawson, Meriah Goodness, Abby Dulac, and Tiffany Sanborn; one grandson, Karl Sanborn; three great grandchildren, Aleahya, and Joshua Farnham, and Cade Clawson. She also leaves her only sister, Laurie and her husband, Ron Holmes, of Bangor; as well as brothers, Thomas Seymour of Bradley and David Seymour of Bangor. She leaves aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well. They will all miss her enormously.
A graveside service with interment at Kenduskeag Village Cemetery will be held in the Spring of 2024. Her family wishes to thank Hospice of Eastern Maine for the excellent care Theresa received.
