Shane Smith

Shane Michael Smith, 36, passed away on February 15, 2025. Born on February 16, 1988, Shane grew up in the beautiful woods of Maine, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors. He spent his childhood playing hockey, camping, fishing, snowboarding, and embracing all the adventures nature had to offer. His adventurous spirit was matched by his passion for motorcycles, which he loved to ride.

Known for his wicked sense of humor, and his amazing hugs, Shane could always bring a smile to those around him. Despite the challenges he faced, he had the biggest heart and a generous spirit. His kindness and warmth touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Shane is survived by his wife, Heather; stepdaughter, Mady; his parents, Bernard and Debbie Smith, Laura Kimball and Don, who all loved him endlessly regardless of his struggles. He is also survived by his "favorite" (only) sister, Chelsie; along with many nieces, cousins, his aunt, uncles, his Grammie Peach, several close friends. Shane was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Jordynn, as well as several Grandparents.

A private memorial service will be announced at a later date for family and close friends.

Gift's in Shane's memory may be made to organizations supporting addiction recovery.
