Winterport, ME and Johnstown, PA – Sandra Ann (Bulebush) Grech, 73, passed away October 4, 2020 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center with her daughters at her side. She was born November 21, 1946, in Latrobe, PA, to the late Ada Josephine (Haer) Andrizal and Joseph Bulebush.
Sandy graduated from Latrobe High School in 1964. She then married the love of her life, Andrew Grech. She graduated from Cambria Rowe Business School later in life, and worked at Mercy Hospital in Johnstown, PA. Sandy was a very talented artist and belonged to The Allied Artists of Johnstown for many years. There she met many wonderful friends whom she missed dearly when she moved to Maine. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for many years.
To those who knew Sandy knew she had the biggest heart and was the sweetest lady. She was kind to everyone she met and once gave a scarf that she knitted to a stranger who complemented her on it. She loved spending time with her family, painting, reading, gardening, decorating, listening to Jordan sing, and vacationing with The Knupp’s . She also loved watching her grandkids participate in sports through the years. She especially loved her dogs, Sam and Baily. She will be sadly missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Grech; stepmother, Lillian Bulebush; brothers, Kerry Bulebush and Donald Bulebush.
She is survived by her daughter Gena Maurer and her husband, Dennis, of Lakeville, MA; daughter, Donna Grech, of Winterport, ME; sister, Mary Lou Swallop, of Latrobe, PA; and Jean Nair, of Baltimore, MD; brother, Ronald Bulebush, of Latrobe, PA; brother, Larry Bulebush, of NC; and sister, Victoria Baird, of SC; grandchildren, Ben, Drew and Jordan Maurer, and Grahme, Ethan, and Rylan Sokoloski.
