Ronald Soucie

Ronald H. Soucie, 71, died unexpectedly on May 18, 2018 in his home. He was born on March 7, 1947 in Bangor, Maine to George E. Soucie and Charlotte Rider.
Ron graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1966, shortly after that he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He then went on to work for some local oil companies. He began working for Maine Distributors as a young man and retired from there in 2012.
Ron married his loving wife, Linda, on June 18, 1988. He never had children of his own, but took Linda’s son, Chris, on as his own. Chris describes Ron as “the father he didn’t have to be.”
Ron was very knowledgeable and was a jack of all trades. He did a lot of reading and could tell you anything you would want to know about any actor/actress. He loved to talk and tell stories and was very loud while doing so.
Upon retirement, he collected die cast cars and was an avid train collector. He enjoyed going to the mud runs with friends. He spent a lot of time with family nearby and would often visit his mother and sister. Ron had two cats that he cherished, Princess and Tia.
Ron was predeceased by his parents; nephew, Todd Pashley; and wife, Linda. He is survived by his sister Georgia Pashley; brother Dana Soucie and wife May Soucie; his stepson, Christopher Sweeney, and wife, Vannessa Robinson; grandchildren, Nicole Robinson and Travis Robinson; and great grand- daughter Liliana Boyington.
A memorial service will be held at 52 Forest Hills Dr., Levant, Maine on June 9, 2018. Friends are welcome to attend from 1-3 and family from 4-6.
