Robert Grant

Brewer – Robert A. Grant, 57, died after a brief illness February 28, 2016, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 14, 1958, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Harland and Lee (Thayer) Grant.

Since he had enough of school by the time he reached the tenth grade, Bobby worked in shoe shops before he began his career as a cook, working in local restaurants. He spent the last 21 years at Geaghan’s in Bangor, a place he loved and where he was loved by them. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and video games. He loved going fishing, and watching baseball and football. He was a Peyton Manning fan and a New York Yankees fan. In spite of that, he was a great Dad.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and David. He is survived by sons Timothy Wittmann, Joshua Grant, Jeremy Grant; and daughters Louanna Masse and Felicia Grant; grandchildren Alexis, Matthew, and Jase Wittmann; siblings Wayne Elston and wife Linda; Rose Aubrey; James Grant and wife Susan, Ricky Grant and wife Ella; his girlfriend, Patty Penney; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held this summer.
