BURNHAM - Richard “Ricky” ended his journey on this earth on July 22, 2021 at Sebasticook Valley Hospital with his family at his side. He was born August 2, 1952 in Winterport, the son of Benjamin J and Beulah (Rogerson) Flewelling,
Surviving, are his daughter, Mona Flewelling, of Burnham and her son, Jared; his son, Richard Flewelling and his wife, Merelene, of Hancock; his stepdaughter, Sierra Harris, of St Albans and her husband, Jason and their children, Harland and Charlotte; brother, David Flewelling; sisters Gloria Perkins of Holden, Janet Zimmerman and her husband, Donald, of Georgia, Frances Thibodeau and her husband, Vaughn, of Winterport; half-sister, Edna Bither, of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews, as well as his special friend and employee, Ray Hurley, of Burnham.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Betty Palmer and two brothers Bennie and Philip preceded Richard in death.
He attended Brewer High school and owned and operated Flewelling Auto Body in Burnham.
Per his request, private services for the family will be announced at a later date.
