BANGOR – Rebecca “Becky” Laura Allen, 67, passed away unexpectedly July 31, 2021, at her home in Bangor. She was born November 2, 1953, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, the daughter of James and Helen (Cote) Hodges.
Becky grew up in Haverhill, Massachusetts, where she attended Haverhill High School, before moving to Maine in 1981, where she raised her three boys. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and teaching her granddaughters the craft.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Hodges. She is survived by her mother, Helen, of South Carolina; sons, Jamie LaBelle and his wife, Mandee, of Corinth; Stephen Allen and his fiancé, Diane Spinney, of Hampden, and Jeffrey Allen and his daughter, Lila Grondin, of Bangor; brothers and sisters, James Hodges and his wife, Kathy, of Florida, Pamela Johnson, of South Carolina, John Hodges and his wife, Carol, of New Hampshire, Jay Hodges, of South Carolina, and Vicky Hodges, of Tennessee; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
