Ralph E. Morrison
Bangor – Ralph E. Morrison, 77, died on February 1, 2018 at Bedside Manor in Oakland.
He was born on June 11, 1940, in Orono, the son of Frank and Laura (Denning) Morrison.
Ralph graduated from Orono high school, class of 1959. Following graduation, he served 3 years in the U.S. Army, from 1961-1964. Ralph worked for and retired from the University of Maine, in Orono, where he worked as a painter. Ralph was married to Diane Morrison for over 27 years. He really enjoyed playing golf, watching the Patriots and Red Socks and could always be found in many different stadiums, supporting and cheering on the local teams.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Diane Morrison, a brother Neal Morrison and a sister Regina Bickford. Surviving are his brothers, Ervin Morrison of Brewer, Frank Morrison Jr. of Orono; his sisters, Barbara Therrien of Bradley, Anna Morrison of Orono, and Laura Snell of Dudley, NC; step children, Robert Clark and his wife Kristie of Kenduskeag, Roann McCafferty and her husband, Mark of Belmont, and Ronald Clark Jr of Belfast; grandchildren, Victoria “Tori,” Andrew and Emma Clark. We would like to say a special thank you to bedside Manor Alzheimer’s care facility in Oakland Maine for helping our family take care of him, they went above and beyond we are so grateful.
