BANGOR- Mary S. Badger, 70, passed away on May 20, 2017 at her home in Bangor. She was born October 24, 1947 in Bradford, ME to Ivan J. and Jennie F. (Richards) Damon
Mary loved to be a mother. She loved to spend birthdays and holidays with her friends and family. Mary loved her family with her whole heart which included her pet family too; Heaven, Rebel, Daisy, and Chipey were all considered Mary’s babies as well. Mary had a lot of friends that were close to her heart. Special friends included; Dennis and Marty Sands, Samantha Bell, Elizabeth Cole, Joyce, her mail carrier, Bill, who helped Mary with trash, and many others. She was well liked will be remembered as the best mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Mary was the type to give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved to collect stuffed animals, angels, dolls, and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones.
Mary is predeceased by her parents, one son, Ivan Thompson, and dear friend, Anne Barregine.
Mary faithfully spent 17 years with the love of her life, Glenn Starbird, and they made great memories together with their fur baby, Chipey. She is survived by daughter Rosalie Cox, who loved her mother dearly and her husband Eugene, of Bangor. Grandchildren; Nicole, Sarah, and Ivan Jr. She leaves behind two beloved sisters; Sarah Damon and Laurie Hamm who deserve special thanks for everything they have done to make Mary’s last days comfortable, she loved them both very much. She also leaves behind her little angels, Ryleigh Elizabeth Neville and Savanna Ramos, who Mary got so much joy out of. She is survived by a special niece, Bridget who she loved very much and one nephew, Jason Hamm and his daughter, Makayla.
Her family would like to thank Mary’s nurses for their compassionate care throughout the years.
