BANGOR - Marion P. Provost, 85, went to be with her Lord on September 23, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1936, in Bangor, the daughter of Donald and Norma (Hall) Bamber Sr..
Marion attended Bangor schools and worked as a housekeeper at Eastern Maine Medical Center until her retirement. She was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Hampden, Maine.
Marion was predeceased by four sons, Francis E. Sprague, Carl R. Sprague, Robert C. Sprague, and Robert C. Sprague; brothers, Rexford, Earlon, Lawrence, Donald Jr, Roland, and Richard; sisters, Irene Knowlton, Bessie Bamber, Gardys Violette, Ellen Sibley, and Helen Albert.
She is survived by four children, Brenda Hamm of Smithfield, North Carolina, Sandra Lopez of Smithfield, North Carolina, Cindy Jaramillo of Princeton, North Carolina, and Jeffrey Sprague, of Bangor; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Marion is also survived by a very dear friend, Bill Martin, of Bangor.
Interment will be at Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, Maine. At the family's request services will be private.
