BREWER – Marcia Louise (Rideout) Clark, 81, passed away peacefully January 21, 2018 at her home with her loved ones beside her. She had a long battle with progressive supranuclear palsy, (PSP). She was born September 11, 1936, in Veazie, to parents, Paul and Cecelia “Sally” Rideout.
She was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1954. She was also a dedicated employee for the State of Maine in the unemployment department. She enjoyed dancing, shopping for her grandchildren, and long walks with her husband, Roland, through the neighborhood.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roland John Clark Sr.; a daughter, Julie Clark of Brewer; and a son, Roland John Clark Jr. and wife, Laura-Lee of Eastbrook. She was predeceased by both her father, Paul, and mother, Cecelia; two brothers, Donald Rideout and Stewart Rideout. She has one sister, Marjorie Martinez and two brothers, Paul Rideout and Gordon Rideout. She was a devoted Nana to Terry Robinson and wife, Danielle of Gray, Emily Clark and husband, Robert Poulin of Saskatchewan, Canada, Shellie Robinson of Bangor, Tami Lane and husband, David of Palm Bay, FL, Jeremy Ellis and wife, Kevy of Bangor, and Jordan Clark of Glenburn. She had 10 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Chanelle, Ryan, Brady, Aiden, Zoey, Olivia, Natalie, Everly, and Bruin.
