Lorraine Thibodeau

GLENBURN
Lorraine B. Thibodeau, 73, passed away unexpectedly from complications of COPD July 14, 2020. She was born July 18, 1946 in Bangor, the daughter of Robert Ashey and Sylvia Carter.

She was married to her first husband, T. Muldoon Sr. for 28 years and with whom she shared two children. Lorraine and her second husband, John Thibodeau were also married for 28 years; she passed away just one day before their 29th anniversary. She worked for a number of shoe companies including, Viner Brothers and Spot Belt; Lorraine also worked for Bangor International Airport, cleaning the planes and Jordan Meats, Jeanie Marshall Foods.

Some of Lorraine’s favorite pastimes were cooking, yard sailing, shopping and taking nature walks. She occasionally enjoyed a little gambling at the slots or with scratch off lottery cards. Spending time with her two sons was always a delight and she enjoyed helping them out whenever she could.

Lorraine had a strong personality and if she was told she could not do something she would do it to prove you wrong. She was very strong willed and always a go getter.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her grandfather, Cyril Ashey; and half-brother, John A. Carter.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Thibodeau, of Glenburn; two sons, Tim Muldoon Jr., of Glenburn and Mark Muldoon, of Eddington; sister-in-law, Eva Littlefield and her husband, Richard of East Benton; as well as many friends.

Services will be private for the family at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Lorraine was a breast cancer survivor and she would appreciate that any donations made in her memory would go to CancerCare , Lafayette Family Cancer Center C/O Northern Light Health Foundation, P.O. Box 931 Bangor, ME 04402-0931.
