Bangor – Lorraine F. Stormann, 68, passed away May 24, 2016, at a Bangor healthcare facility, with her sister Pat and Pat’s husband, Clem by her side. She was born August 10, 1947, in Bangor, the daughter of Merle L. and Ruth E. (Cobb) Stormann, Jr.
Lorraine grew up in Stillwater, graduating from Old Town High School, Class of 1965. She attended nursing school, receiving an Associate’s degree. Lorraine worked at Spotbilt for a while, then went to work at Westgate Manor for many years as a nurse. She enjoyed eating out.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her partner, Alberta Harnish; and a sister, Irene Dorr. She is survived by daughters Karen Sibley and her children, and Jessie Barden-Jones and her child; brother Edward Cobb and wife Helen; sister Pat Modery and husband Clem; very dear friend/son Jason Rowe; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private for the family.
