Brewer/ Presque Isle - Lisa M. Turner, 53, died unexpectedly September 21, 2020, after a long illness at Eastern Maine Medical Center. She was born October 6, 1966 in Caribou, Maine the daughter of John J. and Carolyn R. (Matthews) Sabattus.
Lisa had a love for cooking, flowers, gardening, canning and most importantly her children and grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her world.
Lisa is predeceased by her parents, John and Carolyn Sabattus and a sister Sharon Sabattus. Surviving are her 3 children, Jessica Turner of Presque Isle, Kara and her husband Andrew Jackson of Easton, and Matthew Turner of New Limerick; six grandchildren, Brayden, Abrum and Ethan Jackson all of Easton, Aaliyah and Josh Turner of New Limerick and Kayleigh Turner of Presque Isle; one brother Craig Pelkey of Bangor, and one sister Nicole Bouchard of Brewer; niece Alexa Pelkey and daughter Clover of Washington county and one nephew Hunter Pelkey of Brewer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday October 17, 2020, at the Catholic Church in Calais, followed by the burial at Calais Cemetery.
