Linda Louise (Ayer) Bryant, 77, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on November 18, 1946 to parents Irving and Julia “Shepherd” Ayer of Hampden.
Linda married the love of her life, Bob Bryant, on June 19, 1963. A day she often remembered as the happiest day of her life. Together, they raised four children. For many years, Linda worked as an outside sales representative at Sam’s Club in Bangor. She played an integral part of the Civil Air Patrol, where she supported the Cadet Program in their search and rescue missions.
She loved to draw and to go to yard sales. She spent most of her time helping Bob in the antique car restoration business they ran for 45 years. Over the years, Linda and Bob had their own struggles, but they always found ways to help others. They welcomed both friends and family into their home and were always willing to lend a hand.
Linda was an honest, hardworking, trustworthy mother of four, and will be remembered as a faithful wife who, above all, devoted herself to family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Bryant; brother, Martin Ayer. She is survived by daughters, Stacey Nason and her husband, Peter, Kerry Daigle and her husband, Robert, and Allison Bryant and her partner, Amy Chute; son, Aaron Bryant and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Lauren Evans, Sara Nason, Lydia Bryant, and Finley Bryant, six great grandchildren; and close family members, Chance and Rei.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph Hospice for their care and compassion.
Friends and relatives are invited to share memories and refreshments from 10-12am, Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at 27 Dyer Rd. Carmel, ME.
