Leon L. Baron II, 54, passed away Thursday April 2, 2015 at his home in Newburgh Maine. He was born March 24, 1961 in Millinocket Maine, the son of Leon L Baron Sr. and Shirley A. Caco (Conway).
In addition to his mother, Leon is survived by his two children son Tyson L. Baron of Newburgh and daughter LaTeicia (Tish) Pendergast and husband, Joshua of Bangor; 5 Grandchildren, Kelsey Pendergast, Jameson Going, Tanner Baron, Abraham Pendergast, Aubrey Baron; Brothers, Kevin Baron, Danny Baron, Corey Bangor; Sisters, Shannon Grass, Shelly Baron, Holly Baron; 2 special nephews, Jake and Jayden and special niece Joceylyn and two special step-children Hailey and Taylor Gross. He will also be sadly missed by his two dogs Wriggly and Bruno. Leon is predeceased by his Father and very special Grandparents, Mark and Williana Baron.
Leon served a short time in the US Navy before graduating from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and was proud to be a Millinocket Police Officer for many years before following his passion of being an automotive mechanic.
Family and friends are invited to a service to celebrate his life at 1pm on Wednesday April 8th at the Rock Church 1195 Ohio Street in Bangor.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a mission that was very dear to Leon’s heart, the Cold Case Squad of Maine:
