Laurie A. Chubbuck
Greenbush - On Monday January 3, 2022, Laurie was brought home to the lord. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska on August 23, 1963, the daughter of Jacob and Sharron Smart.
Laurie loved God and was very strong in her beliefs. She was an avid piano player and was very involved in the church.
In addition to her mother, Sharron Smart, Laurie was predeceased by her aunt, Sharron Carroll, and many loving aunts and uncles.
Laurie is survived by her husband, Dennis Chubbuck; children, Blaine Chubbuck, and Susan Chubbuck; grandchildren, Joseph Chubbuck, and Jessie Twitchell; father, Jacob Smart and his wife, Ella; four siblings, Michael Smart and his wife, Penny, Kevin Smart and his wife, Tammy, Craig Smart and his wife, Rhonda, and Matthew Smart and his wife, Carrie; sister-in-law, Debbie Twitchell and her husband, Billy, and their children; many nieces and nephews.
Laurie was cared for by her niece, Kristina Smart until the end and our family is forever grateful for her love, compassion and kindness.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Olamon Faith Bible Church, 126 Military Rd, Greenbush. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
