Bangor – Kathleen M. Rice, 92, died peacefully November 8, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 31, 1922, in Washburn, the daughter of Ernest W. and Mary C. Umphrey.
Throughout Kay’s life she was an avid Beano player and was a devoted Red Sox fan. She also spent time bowling in the Brewer Bowling League.
Kay is survived by a son, Bernard W. Rice and his wife Rebecca; a daughter Marion Sullivan and husband John; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Margaret Allen. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; a son Robert; and grandson Ricky.
