June Michaud, 69, passed away August 5, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle against lung cancer. She was born June 24, 1949, in Wallagrass, the daughter of Bernon and Albertine (Ouellette) Pelletier.
After spending many years as a medical secretary/librarian June devoted herself to raising her three children. She was a truly selfless and caring woman who will be missed by all those who knew her. She found pleasure in helping people and enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, knitting and crocheting things for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, André Michaud. June is survived by her daughters; Denise Michaud-Leavitt and husband, Franklin, granddaughter, Samantha and grandson, Benjamin of Caribou, Karen Bouchard and husband, Steven of Fort Kent; her son, John Michaud of Wallagrass; siblings, Betty and Lincoln Jandreau, Patricia and Thomas Whitworth, Bonnie and Jeffrey Daigle, Janet Chamberland, Louise Pelletier, Terry Pelletier, all of Wallagrass; Doris and Roger Michaud of Frenchville; as well as several beloved nieces, nephews and her dog, Charlie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Soldier Pond. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Wallagrass following the mass.
