BANGOR – June B. “June Bug” Hughes, 79, passed away March 10, 2022, at her home in Bangor. She was born February 12, 1943, in Bangor, the daughter of George Gagne and Mary (Quinn) Saunders.
June enjoyed gardening and family outings. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she had very strong family values.
June is survived by her children, Peter, Danny, Mary, Wendy, Gary, and Michael; many grandchildren, including Ryder, whom she had a very special bond with; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, William and his wife, Bonnie; sisters, Mary-Ellen and Linda.
A Celebration of June Bug’s life will be held at a later date.
