Jonathan Thompson

September 1, 1989 — May 31, 2022

Jonathan Robert Thompson, 32, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2022 at his home in Bangor, Maine. He was born September 1, 1989, in Long Beach, California, to loving parents.
Jonathan graduated from Bangor High School in 2007. After working in the area as a cook for a few years, he moved to New Hampshire, where he remained until moving back to Bangor in 2018. While in New Hampshire, Jonathan and Jessica St. Clair had their only daughter, Sadie Rachel Thompson, with whom he had just celebrated her 5th birthday.
Jonathan was a devoted father, a high school athlete and a lover of camping. His mild demeanor always brought a smile to everyone that he encountered. Despite being an avid follower of all Boston sports teams, Jonathan had been a fan of the Raiders ever since the Tuck Rule happened. His love for his daughter, and the Raiders, will be memorialized in the form of a brick on the Founder’s Wall at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Jonathan is survived by his daughter Sadie; his mother Andree Thompson-LeDee and her husband John; his father Mark Thompson and his wife Kim; brother Jacob Thompson; brother Justin Thompson and his wife Hannah and nephew Samuel and niece Abigail; step-sister Olivia Green; aunts Francine Littlejohn and Rae Teixeira; uncles Michael Thompson and Pierre Littlejohn; companion Courtney Carter and many beloved cousins.
A private memorial service celebrating the brief but beautiful life of Jonathan will be held by his family later this summer.
