James “Jimmy” Landry

Jimmy Landry, 42, died unexpectedly November 15, 2023. He was born on May 3, 1981, in Millinocket, the son of Joyce (Landry) Worcester and Nathan York.
Jimmy graduated from Stearns High School, Class of 1999. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army as a M1A1 Abrams Tank Gunner. After he finished the army he married his high school sweetheart, Trisha (Lappa) Landry and settled in Brewer. He took pride in being a carpenter after the army. He built several houses in the area and down east. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, looking for rocks, and loved looking at the stars. He loved playing his guitar and bass as well. What he most enjoyed was being with his family and friends. He was loved by many and always the life of the party.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Trisha (Lappa) Landry, are his sons, Corbin Landry and son/nephew Devin Lappa, his mother Joyce (Landry) Worcester and her husband John, his brother Jason “Bubba” Morgan and his girlfriend Danielle, step mom Kim York, sister Whitney (York) Toups and her husband Aaron, brother Jerome York and his wife Amy, sister Desiree York, brother Michael Morgan and his wife Natalie, sister Betty McNeil and her husband Shawn, sister Michelle Rancourt and her husband Jerry, brother in law Joey Lappa and his wife Stormey, grandmothers Pricilla York and Jean-Ann Landry, a special extra Mom Karen Elkins with her sons Jason, Bob, and Corey as special brothers, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Nathan York, grandfathers Ray York and Jeannot Landry, sister in law Cindi Jowders, and father in law Joseph Lappa.
We will have a memorial service for Jimmy at the Elks Lodge on December 15th, 2023 from 2pm – 6pm.
