James Freeman

November 30, 1942 — March 31, 2018

HERMON - James R. Freeman, 75, died unexpectedly March 31, 2018 at EMMC. He was born November 30, 1942, in Hermon, the son of Harold Linwood and Leona Idella (Pinkham) Freeman.

James attended Hermon Schools, he married Anne Nowell. They lived in Levant for 5 years, then settled to their farm in Hermon. He passed on their 56th wedding anniversary. James was retired from BMHI in the carpenter shop. He spent his life building and repairing homes in Hermon and many surrounding areas.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Harold Wayne Freeman and a daughter, Andrea Lynne Freeman. Surviving in addition to his sister, Sandra Lee (Freeman) White is his wife, Anne (Nowell) Freeman; his daughter, Libby Rae (Freeman) Michaud, of Scottsdale, AZ. 3 grandsons, Kyle Matthew Folsom, of San Francisco, CA; Jared James Folsom and Celeste (Cropper) Folsom, of Portland, OR;
Tyler Wayne Michaud and his very special girlfriend, Lauren Smith, of El Mirage, AZ; 2 great grandsons,
Ryder James Folsom 4, and Carter Steven Folsom 5 mos old. He will also be sadly missed by a very special person that is part of our family, Debra Braley, as well as nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcomed to come share in conversation and refreshments at the Celebration of Life from 6-8 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Masonic Lodge at Hermon Corner. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the JAMES FREEMAN MEMORIAL FUND at any Camden National Bank location.
