Gordon Caldwell, 81, passed away November 5, 2019. He was born May 23, 1938 the son of Charles and Irene (Sayre) Caldwell, Sr.
Gordon retired from the Hampden school system, a job he loved.
Surviving are his beloved wife Helen S. (Blaisdell) Caldwell; brother, Charles C. Caldwell, sister, Darlene Stafford and brother Dana L Caldwell & Cheri (Snyder) Caldwell, daughter-in-law; Gordon’s biological children: daughter, Marie (Davis) & Larry Pittman of Lake Butler, Florida and their children, Timothy L. Pittman and his son, Bryce, and Brett T. Pittman and spouse, Jennifer (Smith) and their son Lane; son, James Paul Caldwell; son, Gerald Lee Caldwell, Gerald’s sons; Shawn Michael & Minuet (Vasquez) Caldwell their daughter Haley; Jeremy Lee & Cassandra Caldwell and her daughter Annie, their son Austin; Gordon’s stepchildren: daughter, Lori A. (Harvey) & Hugh Whitty and their children, Hugh Whitty, Nicole Whitty, Stephen & Aimee (Bennett) Whitty, Philip & Kathleen (Hodsdon) Whitty, Ian & Lindsay (McKeen) Whitty, and Valene (Whitty) & Nicole (Granville)Thacker. Daughter, Cathy L. (Harvey) & Charles Bryant and his children, Jarad Bryant, Tara (Bryant) & Samuel Heffner; and Cathy’s daughter, Jessica (Clark) Davies & Steven Davies. Daughter, Vicki L. (Harvey) Doolittle and her children, Nicholas B. & Lindsey (Jones) Doolittle and Lauren L. Doolittle. Daughter, Kristie J. (Harvey) & Peter Pelletier, and his children Jeff Pelletier, Elizabeth (Pelletier) & Tom Jones; and Kristie’s children, Jeff & Megan (Toth) Snyder, Cassandra Snyder-Jenkins, Kristofer Snyder and fiancée, Samantha Wilson; honorary children, Tina Marie (Allman) Smith and her children, Christy Iannaconne (deceased), Daniel Iannaconne, and Chelsea Chavaree; and Shirlene Hamor and spouse, Earl Hamor; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and one lil ‘ol’ dog, Pailey.

Gordon loved the Lord and to share his faith with others.
He was greatly loved and will be missed by all of those who love him.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019, 1 to 6 pm, at his grandson’s home at 289 Main Rd. North, Hampden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stonebrook Family Ministry
