GEORGETTE K. TRIPP
BANGOR – Georgette K. Tripp went home to be with her Lord and Savior December 1, 2017. She was born October 20, 1945 in Ipswich, Massachusetts, the daughter of George A. and Alice M. Keighley.
Georgette graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1964. Following graduation she moved to Maine and married Alfred E. Tripp of Frankfort. She made Maine her lifelong home.
She was a dedicated student, earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and retained her license long after she was able to work.
Georgette was very devoted to her family and friends. She was wise and insightful with a wonderful sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son in law Terrance and nephew David. Surviving are her brother Percy Keighley and wife Sandra of Essex, Massachusetts and children Wanda and husband Mark Kimball of Lincoln, Alfred Tripp Jr. and wife Erica of Lynchburg, VA., Alison Hamilton and husband Scott of Newport, George Tripp and Karen Bennett of Dedham. Six grandchildren, Terrance P. O’Brien III, Kiana L. Hamilton, Logan E. Tripp, Tanner L. Tripp, Ciera F. Hamilton, and Gavin George J. Tripp.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Georgette on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the Bangor Masonic Center, 294 Union Street Bangor, ME 04401.
Interment will be in Manchester, MA in the spring.
Georgette was an animal lover and those who wish to remember her in a special way may make gifts to the Bangor Humane Society.
