Eddington and Virginia Beach, VA – Frederick “Fred” Crossman, 83, passed away at his home in Aurora, March 7, 2020. He was born August 25, 1936, in Bangor, the son of Merle and Gladys (Doble) Crossman.
Fred owned Crossman’s Gardens in Eddington for 25 years. He was an army Paratrooper, serving in Kentucky, Alaska, and Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy (Long) Crossman; daughter, Tammy; sons, Frederick II and wife, Cherish, David and wife, Dana; sister, Barbara.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Gary, daughter, Gail; four sisters, and five brothers.
A Celebration of Fred’s life will be announced in the spring.
