Bangor – My journey is over. I’m Home.

I was the last of the family of John L. and Claire (Hall) Legasse from South Brewer, having been born on March 8, 1928, the eighth of ten children and deceased May 8, 2017.

I am survived by my wonderful son, Lawrence J. Metcalfe; his wife Karen; their daughter Rachel C. Metcalfe, my delightful granddaughter and Karen’s son Justin, all from Anaheim Heights, CA.
I am also survived by my daughter, Gail (Metcalfe) Hipsky from Stetson and her three boys; Martin Hipsky Jr. and his daughter Lily from Ohio; David Hipsky, his wife Susan, and their daughters, Melanie and Erika, and their son, Andy from Blue Hill; and Brian Hipsky from Georgia. I am also survived by my nephew, Scott Bowden, niece, Kim Salls and my card playing buddy, Nancy Smith.

Besides being predeceased by my parents and siblings, I was also predeceased by my son in law, Martin Hipsky Sr. from Stetson whom I loved as a son and missed daily.
