Bucksport- Elaine Frances Booker, 72, went to be with her Lord on April 19, 2020 surrounded by her family after a battle with chronic health issues. She was born in Belfast, Maine on July 15, 1947.
She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Phillip C. Booker. Together they created a family unit built on love. Elaine worked in many capacities but her favorite job was being a homemaker. She loved being surrounded by her family and always found room for anyone who needed love and support. She loved gardening with her husband as well as crafts and sewing. Over the years she became a professional seamstress completing work for the Anah Temple Shriners and others. She loved doing anything that involved sharing her love for life with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her mother, Janet Crawford and brother, Robert Hall
Elaine is survived by her children, Tammy and husband, John Kalel, Tina and husband, John Carter, Tonya and husband, John Crocker; seven grandchildren, Ivy Butera, John Kalel ll and his wife, Kristy, John P. Carter and his wife, Kaci, John M. Crocker and his fiancé, Kristen, Kayla Kalel, Phillip Crocker and his fiancé, Cassie, Moriah and her husband, Alex. She also was blessed with 17 great grandchildren. She is known as Mamie to her grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters and their families that she loved dearly. She spoke often of her special times with her siblings. In addition, Elaine had a special friend Scott W. Bowden. Together they enjoyed Elaine's final years and shared in many special memories.
