Edward “Eddie” J. Denning, 74, passed away October 14, 2015, at a Bangor hospital. He was born February 25, 1941, in Bangor, the son of John and Arlene (Hamlin) Denning.
Eddie worked as a grounds keeper for the City of Bangor most of his life. He was a member of the Eagles Club and attended St. John’s Catholic Church. Eddie was known for always carrying his comb so his hair was just right. He loved his beer. His friends and family was his life and he will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his best friend David Smith of Orrington; nephews, Pete Spencer and wife Deborah of Orrington, Lawrence “Larry” Denning of Mass., and other nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by all his siblings; brothers, Buddy and Larry; sisters, Margaret and Mary.
Funeral Prayers and the Rite of Committal will be prayed, 11 AM, Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, 449 Ohio Street, Bangor.
