Edgar "Lee" Senter

December 23, 1956 — July 29, 2015

Edgar “Lee” Senter, 58, husband of 25 years to Robin L. (Larrabee) Senter, passed away July 29, 2015, after a courageous fight against cancer. Lee was born December 23, 1956, the middle son of Edgar and Edna (Leaman) Senter in Lynchburg, VA.
Lee was a 1975 graduate of Brewer High School and a member of the special forces in the US Navy from 1975-77. He loved working with wood in the family sawmill and other sawmills in the area, and building houses for Donald R. Bouchard Construction in Orrington.
Lee enjoyed his family, friends, the Yankees, the Giants, campity-camp, playing cards, hunting and fishing. His proudest moments were spent being a dad to Kyle and watching him play baseball.
In addition to his wife, Lee is survived by his son, Kyle of Clifton; his children from his first marriage, Jaimee Jenkins of Bangor and Michael Jenkins of Lebanon, NH; mother, Edna Senter of Clifton; brothers John R. Senter and his friend, Cynthia Blair, Anson C. Senter and his friend, Kim Plante, and Roger Senter; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Bernard Larrabee; sisters-in-law, Linda Senter, Sherry Senter and Kathleen Senter, Melody Davis, Ann Ross, Amy Crockett and Megan Larrabee and her fiancé, Adam Potter; as well as nieces and nephews. Additionally, Lee loved his “brother”, Garth DeBeck of Clifton and his close friends, Danny and Kellie Dugan and Patricia Eldridge. Lee will be missed by his faithful and loyal companion, Jessie. He was predeceased by his father, Edgar E. Senter and brother, James W. Senter.
Lee did not want others to mourn his loss, but instead to celebrate his life at a get together for family and friends to be announced at a later date. Those who wish to remember Lee in a special way may make gifts in his memory to New Hope Hospice, PO Box 70, Eddington, ME 04428. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.Memorial-Alternatives.com.
