Douglas E. Floyd, 53, went to be with his angels on May 8, 2017 due to heart failure. He was the son of the late James Floyd and Deanna and John Condon.
Doug was a graduate of Brewer High School, class of 1982. He served 3 years in the United Stated Army and worked many years at KFC in Brewer.
Doug loved his Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox. He loved to fish, always getting the biggest fish except when his son Nick was with him and then that didn’t happen. He also was known for his cooking – hosting many cookouts on game day and feeding anyone and everyone who stopped by. He loved his family and was so proud last summer when he walked his daughter, Sammi down the aisle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years but together for 28, Priscilla, his daughter Samantha & Roger, and his son Nicholas & his Fiancée Anna. Also survived by his brother David, sisters Debbie &Scott Davis and Diane Raymond and partner Jud, his step brother John and Tricia, brother in-law Tom and Lisa, sister in-law Christina and Morgan and Mother in-law Katherine King, along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Predeceased by his father in-law, Thomas King, his step brother Greg Condon, his nephew Mark Reynolds, and his brother in –law Jeff Butterfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering in his honor, 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Pine Grove Remembrance Center, 1347 Hammond St., Bangor.
