ORONO
Dorothy R. Thibodeau, 94, passed away at home, May 1, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was born March 20, 1926 in Bucksport, the daughter of George Warren and Ruth Dorothy (Bruster) Atwood.
She was very active for many years in Special Olympics and Troop Greeters. Dorothy was also a great cook, seamstress, and she loved her gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Doodie Thibodeau, and a son-in-law, Rodney Wright.
Dorothy leaves behind a son, James Thibodeau of Ellsworth; daughters, Ruthie Wright, of East Corinth, Suzanne Thibodeau, of Orono, and Roxanne Sinclair, of Orono; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters.
