David Emery

Bangor – David H Emery, 65, died November 12, 2015 at his home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, with his wife and family by his side. He was born January 26, 1950 in Lincoln.

David graduated from Lee Academy in 1967 and attended Barrington College. David married his best friend, Deanie Cole, in 2010. He worked for Bangor Public Works and retired in 2015. David was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing for BIG trout at his special pond, riding his motorcycle with his wife, building fly rods, hunting, golfing and being with his family. David was a man of God and served the lord faithfully. He was a kind, generous and loving man who lived his life enjoying the outdoors.

David was predeceased by his father Ralph E Emery. He is survived by his wife Deanie; his daughter, Caitlin Ladd and husband Jon of Medway; Granddaughter Jocelyn Ladd; Mother; Evelyn Emery of Lincoln; Brothers, Bruce Emery and wife Barb of Rockhill, S.C, Ray Emery and wife Nancy of Lincoln, Alan Emery and wife Kelly of Houlton; Sister, Norma Dobbins and husband Terry from Glens Falls, NY; Also survived by step daughters, Kristy Martin and partner Bonnie, Laura Zwanziger; Granddaughter, Elyce Martin and partner Will; great grandsons, Noah and Sebastian along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for David will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 1pm at the Calvary Baptist Church Family Center located at 12 Family Center Lane in Brewer, ME, with David’s brother Bruce Emery officiating. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may make donations to:
