Clarence Leo Rairdon, Jr.

Clarence L. Rairdon, Jr., passed, to his reward on July 27, 2024 after a long illness. He was born Iin Houlton, November 23, 1952 the son of Clarence Leo Rairdon, SR. and Norma (Brewster) Rairdon.
Clarence graduated from Houlton High School and joined the US Army. He served three years in Germany during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He then served 22 years in the Army National Guard, where he received numerous awards.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 41.
Clarence worked as a mechanic throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. Friends and family enjoyed the model wooden ships he constructed as a hobby.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Rairdon; sons, John P. Rairdon and Adam Rairdon; daughter, Amanda Rairdon, who all reside in Canada; step-children, Timothy, Linda, Melanie, Chip and Clint; sisters, Roxanna Moores, Denise Gieger; brothers, David Rairdon and Roger Rairdon, all of whom live in Aroostook County.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Hillside Cemetery, Bradford. A celebration of his life will follow at the Bradford Community Center. We will be having a BBQ with Clarence’s favorites, for those who wish to join us.
