BROWNVILLE JUNCTION - Christopher Wade McCleary, 34, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was born November 10, 1989, in Dover-Foxcroft to Lorinda Canney and Paul McCleary.
Chris graduated from Penquis Valley High School, Class of 2008. Anyone that knew Chris, knew how much he loved his son Tanner; he was #1 in his life. Also, his love for his sneakers “KD’s” being his favorite. He also enjoyed watching a good basketball game and of course gaming on line. He had many friends through school, he was especially close to Douglas, Dylan, Nate, Corey, Cody, and Michael along with numerous others in and out over the years. He thought very highly of his South Portland boys, Reilley, Ben, Jonathan, Chris, and others.
Chris was predeceased by “Gramp and Gram”, Phil and Virginia Barden; “Gramp” Elwood McCleary; and his loving grandmother, Barbara Gonzales. He is survived by his loving mother, Lorinda Canney and Roger Bivins, of Brownville, Jct.; his loving father and stepmother, Paul and Gail McCleary, of Hudson; his beautiful son, Tanner; his loving grandfather, Wade Canney and Dottie Perkins, of Levant; his loving grandfather, Tony Gonzales, of Milo; his loving grandmother, Hannah McCleary, of Brownville and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers and most of all, for being there and looking out for Chris.
