BANGOR – Charlotte Joanne McNeal, 82, passed away November 28, 2016 at her residence in Bangor surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 10, 1934, in Bangor, the daughter of Francis David and Catherine (Smith) Keirstead.
Charlotte graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1952. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and her flower garden.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, George McKay Jr., and second husband, Duanne McNeal, son George McKay III, daughter Catherine Partridge, and brother, David Keirstead. Surviving is a son Irvin McKay and wife Cindy; grandchildren Rollie Partridge and wife Sherri, Brent Partridge and wife Jen, Peter McKay, Christy McLain and husband Jason, Jack McKay and wife Shana; great-grandchildren Aaron, Shelby, Sean, Brenna, Jadyn, Trace, Jay, Chloe, Brooklynn, Jacklynn, Amelia; great-great-grandchild Paisley; daughter in-law Phyllis McKay; sister Jan Flint and husband Bob; brother Bob Boynton and wife Sharon, 3 step-children, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception will be held 4-6 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Dysart’s Restaurant, 1110 Broadway, Bangor ME 04401. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.Memorial-Alternatives.com
