CHARLES W. TOZIER
BANGOR
Charles W. Tozier, 50, died unexpectedly on November 1st, 2021, at a Bangor Hospital. He was born March 26th, 1971, in Bangor, the son of Everett E. and Althena S. (Corcoran) Tozier.
Charles graduated from Bangor High, class of 1991. He worked and volunteered in Bangor for multiple years. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed playing sports with his friends and at the Special Olympics of Maine events, most notably a basketball tournament in New Jersey in 2014. He enjoyed time spent with family and had a passion for animals. It brought him joy to make others smile and laugh. Charles and his nephew, Jonathan, had a very close relationship. Jonathan nicknamed him “Tito” and it stuck.
He is survived by his only sister, Evelyn Morrison, of Brewer; Two nephews, Shawn Morrison and his family, of Bucksport; and Jonathan Morrison, of Old Town; One niece, Kimberly Morrison and her fiancé, John Tucker, with their two children, Jordan and Mason, of Levant; Two aunts, Maralyn Harvey, of Searsport; and Janice; Two uncles, Joel Tozier of Searsport and Oscar Tozier of New Hampshire; and many cousins. He will be greatly missed by his friends and his “special siblings”.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, in Swansville, on November 20th, 2021 at 1pm, which will be conducted by Kassandra Vincent. To those who sent condolences, thank you.
