Bradley – Brian “Scott” King, 51, died peacefully August 16, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, after a long, courageous battle with kidney disease. He was born December 19, 1964, the son of Gordon A. King and Barbara (Fanjoy) Pelletier. Scott was a beautiful Christmas present to the family.
He graduated from Old Town High School, class of 1983. Scott loved to build things, from cabins when he was a kid, to building homes for Bruce Hamel as an adult. He also loved listening to tunes while tending his herb garden, and what a crop he had these past few years! He was a loving grandfather, and uncle. He loved to brag about all the kids.
Scott is survived by his high school sweetheart, love of his life, and mother of his children, Carin Dionne; his loving children, Ashley Loring and husband Jesse, Bradley Scot King and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Klaire and Kail Loring, and Nolan King. He also leaves behind siblings Vernard J. King, David P. King and wife Cathy, and Rebecca King Flaherty, and husband Steven; step-sisters Rebecca J. Willigar and Beth Austin; step-brothers Stephen Pelletier and Thomas Pelletier. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Scott was predeceased by brother Thomas A. King; step-brother Shawn Pelletier; and step-sister Carol Pelletier.
A special thanks to Mark “Benny” Binnette and Steve “Killer” Guay for always being such a great friend to Scott.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Old Town Elks Lodge, 37 Fourth St., Old Town. All who loved him are welcome.
