Benjamin Morrill

Benny passed from natural causes on Monday, December 28, 2015. We would like to thank all of the first responders that assisted with Benny’s care.

He was born March 8, 1939 in Sanford, Maine, served in the National Guard for 11 years and was married to Marilee (Mattress) Morrill for 44 happy years. He loved to garden with his wife Mari and enjoyed working in his workshop in the garage. Benny loved to spend time with his grandchildren and was always tinkering with items around the house.

He was a dedicated and devoted truck driver for over 50 years, has driven through 45 of the lower 48 states and has logged over 4 million miles driving tractor trailer and seen many remarkable sites and has always had his heart with his family. His love of his life Mari, was always by his side regardless of where he was in his travels.

Surviving in addition to his wife Marilee (Mattress) Morrill are his two sons, Jesse C. Morrill and wife BarbiJo Morrill of Buxton and Christopher F. Morrill and wife Ruth M. Morrill of Winterport. And three grandchildren Eric T. Morrill, Emily P. Morrill and Madison K. Morrill and newest addition to be born soon Lucas Wood Frost Morrill. Also survived by many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence F. Morrill and his mother, Dorothy B. (Caldwell) Morrill and his daughter Sarah L. Morrill.
