Barbara Jean (Stuart) Bostrom
Orono, Maine Barbara Jean Stuart Bostrom, formerly of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away on March 11, 2021. She was an avid gardener who also enjoyed crafting and sewing.
Barbara was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Donald A. Bostrom, in September of 2000. Barbara is survived by her five children: Paula, Peter, Carl, David and Christopher. Additionally, she is survived by nine grandchildren: Michaela, Nicholas, Kaylee, Shannon, Alyssa, Khiara, Kyle, Alexandria and Hannah.
Barbara also leaves her great grandchildren: Bayliegh Jean, Brooke Marie, Carl William Edwin, Bethany Sarah and Barbara's two sisters: Frances and Nancy.
There will be no calling hours. Barbara's committal service will be held in Rhode Island.
We would like to thank all who touched our Mom's life over the years. Your interactions, however large or small, made a positive difference in her life.
We ask that you please remember and honor our Mom by thinking of others. Please say a prayer for someone in need. Your smile and a kind word could just be the thing that brightens someone's day. Performing any small act of kindness that will make the world a better place would be a wonderful tribute to not only our Mom but to our Dad as well and would truly please us.
