BANGOR - We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of Anne E. Waldron of Bangor, Maine on July 8th, 2021 after several years of declining health. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Augustus, and Ester Conroy.
Anne graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshite with a Bachelor of Science. She worked in the Medical field in many capacities before retirement. She married the love of her life, Robert M. Waldron, in 1965, and was widowed after 6 short years.
Anne loved to knit and donated hundreds of winter hats to children in need. She also like to knit little blankets for shelter cats. She always loved cats and always had room in her heart for one more. She had one of kindest souls ever to grace this earth. A devout Catholic, she took comfort in her faith, and it sustained her through many hardships. Anne will always be in our hearts.
Anne was pre-deceased by her brother Gus Conroy, whom she loved very much. She is survived by her son, Robert M. Waldron Jr. and his fiancé, Emily Berry; and her sister, Mary O’Conner.
There will be a celebration of life later this summer. Date and time to be determined.
