Bangor – Ann F. Pede, 79, passed away after a long illness Friday, April 8, 2016. She was born April 7, 1937, in Malden, MA, the daughter of Ferdinand and Frances Byrd (Cook) Pede.
Ann graduated from Lexington High School, class of 1955, and went right to work at Raytheon, a commercial electronics company. She spent her entire career working in Waltham, MA. Ann traveled to lots of places around the world and she played a lot of golf. Ann will always be remembered as being very feisty, yet very generous.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by a brother, Edward. She is survived by first cousins Sandi Mann and husband Art, of Patten, Carol Howard and husband Alan of Dennis, MA, Ron Cook and wife Rose, of North Attleboro, MA, Lauren Sullivan of Freeport, and Lynda Cook of Topsham; and many 2nd and 3rd cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Westview Cemetery, in Lexington, MA. Those who wish to remember Ann in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 383 US Route 1, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME, 04074.
