October 15, 1947 — July 2, 2019

BRADFORD - Angus J. “Junior” Brasslett Jr, 71, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

Junior was born in Hudson, Maine on October 15, 1947, the son of Angus, Sr. and Christine (Trask) Brasslett.

He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 in Germany as Head Wheel Mechanic and Company Commander’s Personal Driver.

A lifelong resident of Bradford, he spent many of his years self-employed as a wood cutter. During the off season he would do various jobs often referring to himself as a “Jack of All Trades.”

Junior also had many hobbies and interests including dickering cattle, hunting, tinkering on one of his many tractors, gardening or fishing with his lifelong friend, Red Bubier.

Junior was a family man through and through and will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife of 21 years, Lisa J. (Mills) Brasslett. He enjoyed spending time with his children, David Maguire, Donna Bonilla, Terri Brasslett, Brittany Hill, and Devon Corliss. He also loved sharing memories with his sisters, Judy Brasslett, and Marie Lancaster; and his brother, Scott Brasslett. Junior is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends spanning all across Maine.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life held at 12 pm on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Bradford Community Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sweet treat to share in honor of Junior’s love for his “cookies” and coffee. Condolences to the family may be expressed at Memorial-Alternatives.com
